A Che Guevara T-shirt really took my eye

I went to buy the T-shirt from the T-shirt guy

I asked him who Guevara was he said, “I wish I knew

Everyone keeps asking me I haven’t got a clue

Chorus:

I don’t know who he is but he sells a lot of T-shirts

I don’t know who he is but I’d like to shake his hand

I don’t know who he is but he sells a lot of T-shirts

I guess he must be in a band

I have a best friend Artie – he really like to drink

He took out his stomach - he put in a sink

He said, “I like your T-shirt – I’ve got one the same

Who was Che Guevara? It’s driving me insane!”

Chorus:

Woman on a TV quiz sweating in the chair

Down to last question to be a millionaire

They said, “Look at that picture can you name that man?”

She said, ”I’ll ask the audience” and they all sang

Chorus:

The answer lies in Cubs where they make the big cigars

Play the sexy music and put sugar cane in cars

I think that something happened there in 1959

Now they’re all wearing T-shirts just like mine

Last chorus:

They must know who is and he sells a lot of T-shirt

They must know who he is and he’s a hero in that land

They must know who he is and he sells a lot of T-shirt

I think he had a Salsa band
